Money Money Money

I'm so excited for my trip to Bali this Friday! Two days away baybeeeeeeee! 4 well deserved days off from work, thank God. Ortho is starting to wear me out a little. But i was chosen as a mentee for sports team under thebig boss Miss Siti, and it's such a great opportunity because i get to train directly under her (clinic, OT, ward rounds etc) and it's going good so far! Doing less locums lately though, dah malas lol! But gotta rethink that - moolah's running low! DANGEROUSLY! And dude it's only the 12th?

Plus, MAROON 5 is coming! We're making a ward outing of it again (a lot of those lately, i like!). Nak pakai duit lagi for the tickets! And lets not forget the Biebster! Nyahahaha ;P

Alhamdulillah

My rezeki has been good lately. I've started doing locum thanks to my friend Kugan who introduced me to this clinic in Hartamas so around once a week I'll do night duty till about 10pm. Pay's not much but hey its something! Put my degree to good use outside the hospital at least, lol. Plus the experience is great because one day I'd like to open a clinic of my own and this way I know first hand what goes on behind the scenes. Definitely very different from our hectic hospital setting that's for sure.

Everyones harping on me to do my masters and become a physician/surgeon/etc but I don't know... That kind of life is not really what people imagine it to be. The amount of studying masya-Allah only God knows. And the on call and stress and failure pressure and TIME... urghhh I shudder just thinking about it. Right now my path is quite clear to me. After housemanship, a year in district. Then a year more in general hospital to complete my compulsory service. By that time I'll hopefully get a place in a masters program for family health and do one or two diplomas in aesthetics then when I have enough moolah I'll open up my own clinics all across town. And make them look really nice and posh, not dreary and drabby like most clinics are. Eeeee best!

A girl can dream, right? :)
